The above Strapless Pleated Dress in Eggshell is my favorite, hands down. It makes me long for summer, those lazy days spent outdoor soaking up the sun. One of the awesome things I noticed about Valentia E. is that a lot of the flare is a separate attachment. Those of you that deal in mesh frequently have to be joining me in the hallelujahs on that! How many times have you looked at something mesh and wished you could move that little bit of frill right there? Problem solved.
Once I slipped on this Bodice Dress in Floral Turquoise I instantly felt like a Southern Bell. I imagined warm days spent attending cotillions, celebrating the grand traditions of Good Ole' Dixieland. I just wish I could find some animation that shows me fluffing up my dress, this little number calls for it.
The Silk & Chiffon dress displayed above is the perfect example of elegance and class. Slipping into it for cocktails seems effortless, so much more then the little black dress staple. What's nice about this piece is that the two layers are separate, just like the flare. I'm in love with the chiffon layer, my mind is already run a muck with thoughts of what else i could pair it with! And really that's what good mesh is about, not the standard cookie cutter offering that's portrayed, but the ability to customize your look. I can only hope that every designer follows suit and the opportunity to flash your individuality is offered, just like with Valentina E..
