Not So Bad...

... is oh so good! New release from NotSoBad and it is FABULOUS! It comes in a ton of colors and like always the quality from NotSoBad is superb. I've only got one complaint here and it's more one of convenience then anything else, the dress and belt are separate pieces. This dress obviously calls for the belt, it should just come with. But for this stunning offering I'd buy the alpha layer separate! :P

Simplicity...

... is sexy! It wasn't too long ago that I was speaking to Lady Joie and she mentioned the shop Mandala, to which I gave a, o.O? After I had used the smelling salts and she had risen from her utter shock she told me to expect a little delivery. What I unwrapped was beyond amazing! I fell in love with this little neck tie studded with bits of chain and flare. I racked my brain trying to figure out the perfect outfit to pair this with when I realized this tie needed to be the star, hence the lack of attire. :P

Here comes Axelle cottontail...

... hoping along the bunneh trail! >.< For those of you that celebrate the fair rabbit rejoicing holiday here are two bunny offerings, a sweet little black bunny and a fun little white version. Both are extremely cute and feature Ears & Tail from Medusa Creations. Grab your Easter baskets cause who couldn't resist the opportunity to bunny hop?

Nothing says sweet like ruffles and bows, this outfit can be found at Jane with the option of switching the bottom for a skirt or slacks.

Not to long ago, I attended a really great event called EPOCH, a bunch of different designers coming together, collaborating to gain inspiration from one another. I picked up this fun little partial mesh top from House of Fox there and the leggings are new Maitreya.

I hope everyone spent the holiday with people they care about and had way too much sugar! And coming up in the next post, recipes for left over eggs. :P

Valentina E.

It's not everyday you log into SL and find a little gift waiting for you, but this morning seemed to be one of those rare occasions. What should I find you ask? Why a brand new mesh offering! >.< Valentina E. is the newest kid on the mesh block and it delivers. Those who know me may claim some bias here, seeing as I know the creator (Awesome job Miss Eva, by the way!), but such allegations have little ground. This sweet little collection is fabulous, take a look for yourselves...

The above Strapless Pleated Dress in Eggshell is my favorite, hands down. It makes me long for summer, those lazy days spent outdoor soaking up the sun. One of the awesome things I noticed about Valentia E. is that a lot of the flare is a separate attachment. Those of you that deal in mesh frequently have to be joining me in the hallelujahs on that! How many times have you looked at something mesh and wished you could move that little bit of frill right there? Problem solved.

Once I slipped on this Bodice Dress in Floral Turquoise I instantly felt like a Southern Bell. I imagined warm days spent attending cotillions, celebrating the grand traditions of Good Ole' Dixieland. I just wish I could find some animation that shows me fluffing up my dress, this little number calls for it.

The Silk & Chiffon dress displayed above is the perfect example of elegance and class. Slipping into it for cocktails seems effortless, so much more then the little black dress staple. What's nice about this piece is that the two layers are separate, just like the flare. I'm in love with the chiffon layer, my mind is already run a muck with thoughts of what else i could pair it with! And really that's what good mesh is about, not the standard cookie cutter offering that's portrayed, but the ability to customize your look. I can only hope that every designer follows suit and the opportunity to flash your individuality is offered, just like with Valentina E..

All Logic is Good...

... welll, at least all ColdLogic is good. UH-mazing in fact! I'm absolutely head over heals for this new release. This Savage dress in white, is right up my alley.

The details on this little frock are fabulous. Not only does it look good coming at you, but it's just as nice as you watch it walk away.

I know yall are a smart bunch, so I'll be seeing you in your very own ColdLogic soon, because the alternative would be highly illogical.

Green...

... not just the new term for being environmentally conscious, but a color. A color no more welcomed then during St. Patrick's Day! *does a VERY convincing Irish jig.* And in celebration of this Celtic holiday I've put together three lovely looks for you, a little something for every style and/or occasion.

It's 11:00am and you're running late for that St. Paddy's Day brunch, your comforter is far too warm, but the thought of missing out on green mimosas lures you from them. You stumble into the closet and throw on something festive but not over the top, these shorts from JANE and this crop top from Le Primitif are perfect! Throw on a few festive accessories and a blazer and you're ready for those drinks!

Later on in the evening you've got a yummy date with a new prospect, but what to wear? you want to look nice, but it's a holiday, kinda. You go with this sweet little number by BeetleBones, it's meshy goodness is something no purveyor of SL fashion can resist! And you throw on this cute little hat by Nyla Cheeky to get into the festivities without looking like you're doing some add for Guinness.

It's 11:00am again and it's not just the sheets keeping you from leaving the bed, but your new yummy "friend". After pints and pints of emerald colored beer you found yourself back at your place showing off those awesome shamrock panties you got from aberrant and that cozy sweater you grabbed from Riddle. He's not Irish and neither are you, but somehow you both seemed to find that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. with the help of your lucky four leaf clover of course.

So speaking of The Fashion Geret...

... this round it was fairly bleh, BUT I did find one dress that was worth the trip! This cute little frock with a flora motif is from =Zennith= and is perfect for the season. Nothing says "on the cusp of spring" like floral on black. The dress is partially mesh, which is a nice touch, they even added a belt so the transition looks much smoother. So if you've found yourself unable to TP into Collabor88 (new collection out now!), stop by TFG and pick up this lil number before making that second attempt!

From Queen to...

...Punk Princess? After adorning the accoutrement of royalty I figured a look more princess and less queeny might be nice, but I'm hardly a princess, so the following is the result. The dress is a not so old offering from The Fashion Garret, by =Zenith=, a really nice mix of naughty and nice and a must at 70L. I recently made a trip to March Mesh Madness with the ever lovely Lady Joie and found some delightful offerings, well worth the TERRIBLE lag.

It has to be said I'm a fan of [Gos] in general, but oh my goodness! These boots! The detailing is amazing and I love the option of having an ankle version (not shown) in addition to the calf variety. These mesh boots also come with a nifty HUD to make the different options that much easier. At 795L these boots are a steal, you pay for what you get, and you get some quality footwear here!

Now, I don't care how much linden you're hefting around in that metaphorical change purse, a steal is STILL a steal! And at a 1L a pop these oh so cute mesh spectacles from bitch. are the very definition of bargain. There are four styles to choose from, but come on, at these prices I'm sure you'll pick up all four.

Waltzing the night away at a fairytale like ball is magical, but not so practical for everyday life. Most of the time you can find me in less frills, humming the chorus to a Joan Jett tune.

To Live The Life...

... of a Parisian Queen must have been nice. Royal balls, decadent pastries, and oh the fashion. Never mind that pesky little revolution going on.  The Dominion held it's weekly Friday Bash and the theme this week was right up my alley, "Let Them Eat Cake!", a Marie Antoinette inspired ball. When it came to this opulent time period I figured the more the merrier, so this particular look features a mash-up of a few different designers. In our busy day to day lives perhaps we should all take a cue from France's last Queen; relax, throw on your best, and eat something sweet enough to give you a sugar high.
